Dad in one page
If I had only one page to describe my father, it would be this one. It is simply ridiculous how much this single scrawled piece of legal paper tells of the man. It has a shopping list (ham, bacon, roasts...how I miss that man) in the upper left, the upper right has some scribble referencing the Law Enforcement Act of 1963, the mid portion and bottom contain gardening chores completed and undone, and then in center circle, the man mentions how the EKU College of Justice, now home to more than 2600 students, 10 undergraduate and 3 graduate degree programs, 50+ full time faculty, and more than 50 million dollars in external funding, was conceived at a dinner at Anna Maria's Restaurant in Washington, DC. The child of the depression never wasted paper, time, or thoughts
